Women's volleyball club "Zavidovići" participated in the volleyball tournament "Memorial Alessandra", held in Roncadelle, Italy, on the 15th December 2019. This was the 22nd Memorial tournament dedicated to the girl Alessandra Navoni, who lost her life at the age of eleven due to leukemia. After the painful loss, parents of the young volleyball player have decided to continue to fight against this terrible disease, and they founded the Alliance for fight against leukemia and lymphomas (AIL) in Brescia. Local Democracy Agency Zavidovići has organized the participation of women's volleyball club "Zavidovici" at the 21st tournament "Memorial Alessandra" in Italy as part of the twinning arrangement between the Municipality of Roncadelle (Italy) and the Municipality of Zavidovici (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The twinning agreement with the Italian municipality of Roncadelle from the Province of Brescia was signed in Zavidovići on April 21, 2007, with the intention to increase ties and cooperation between communities in the cultural, social, economic, recreational and sports field promoting the culture of peace and international cooperation as a means of achieving concrete solidarity between communities. Ten years have passed since the twinning of the Zavidovići municipality with the municipality of Roncadelle.
