BALKAN NETWORK FOR LOCAL DEMOCRACY FIRST GOVERNING BOARD MEETING IN SERBIA Featured

The Governing board of the Balkan Network for Local Democracy (BNLD) was held in Knjazevac, Serbia, from 10 to 12 September 2019. This was the first meeting of the Governing board after the legal establishment of the Network.

The BNLD members, ALDA and LDAs from Western Balkan countries used this opportunity to discuss a variety of questions important for the Network, such as fundraising plan, visibility, partnerships for the network as well as the internal structuring of the network.  

During the meeting chaired by the President of the BNLD, Mr. Elbert Krasniqi, the GB members were briefed about the registration process and all the technical issues by the Executive director, Ms. Ivana Petrovska. The discussions during the meeting also included policy making issues of significance for the network as well as sharing ideas for projects and future activities. The next meeting of BNLD will take in Pristina in November where will be organized the official public launching of the Network.

Balkan Network for local democracy (BNLD) is a Network created by ALDA and the LDAs from Western Balkan countries with mission to promote local democracy and regional cooperation in the perspective of EU integration of the Western Balkans through the empowerment of civil society and local authorities. The Network was registered in Skopje in June this year.

PRVI SASTANAK UPRAVNOG ODBORA BALKANSKE MREŽE ZA LOKALNU DEMOKRATIJU U SRBIJI

Prvi sastanak upravnog odbora Balkanske mreže za lokalnu demokratiju (BNLD) održan je u Knjaževcu, Srbiji od 10. do 12. septembra 2019. godine. Ovo je prvi sastanak Upravnog odbora nakon uspostavljanja Mreže. 

Članovi BNLD-a, ALDA-e i LDA-a iz zemalja Zapadnog Balkana razgovarali su o različitim važnim pitanjima vezanim za Mrežu, kao što je fundrasing plan, vidljivost, partnerstva, kao i unutarnje organizacije Mreže.

Tijekom sastanka kojim je predsjedavao g. Elbert Krasniqi, predsjednik BNLD-a, članovi Upravnog odbora upoznali izvršnu direktoricu Ivanu Petrovsku  o procesu registracije Mreže i ostalim tehničkim pitanjima.

Na sastanku se razgovaralo o kreiranju politika značajnih za Mrežu kao i razmjenu ideja za buduće projekte i aktivnosti. Naredni sastanak BNLD-a održat će se u novembru u Prištini kada će se zvanično pokrenuti rad Mreže.

Balkansku mrežu lokalnih demokratija (BNLD) kreirala je ALDA i LDA-a iz zemalja Zapadnog Balkana s ciljem promovisanja lokalne demokratije i regionalne suradnje u perspektivi integracije zapadnog Balkana u EU kroz osnaživanje civilnog društva i lokalnih vlasti. Mreža je registrirana u Skoplju u lipnju ove godine.
