The European union was in one of the major topics discussed throughout the workshop, particularly the set of values, standards and principles that one country should have in order to became a member. The conclusion was that the countries should strive to implement the EU directives and regulations firstly for their own benefit and afterwards as a condition to EU accession.

The youngsters had the opportunity to express their opinion regarding fundamental rights by critical analysis of their own countries and in comparison to the others. The outcome of this workshop was gaining knowledge for the situation on the Western Balkans regarding this questions on the one hand and creating a set of recommendations on the other.
